Payments
Payment is accepted via PayPal to matt@hymesdesign.com.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required and the remaining balance will be invoiced upon
completion of the work. If additional charges have been incurred, you will be emailed in advance
of your final invoice. High resolution, suitable-for-printing designs will NOT be emailed
until the full balance has been paid. Note: if purchasing services through ecrater then full amount of project is required up front in the initial payment.
Turnaround
Typically, the process for logo design takes about three weeks. If I am accepting clients on a "waiting list only" status, I will email you and let you know when your design will begin. A questionnaire will be emailed to you to fill out and return to me which will help me identify your needs. The three week time frame will be extended if it is difficult to contact you, and will be based upon receipt of your completed questionnaire. This turn around time can be reduced for additional fees.
Delivery
All logos will be emailed to you as vector (Adobe Illustrator .eps) file. All other designs will be emailed a print-ready .pdf file. If you require additional formats, please let me know and I will accommodate you
as best I can. If files are too large to be sent via email a CD, will be mailed to you.
Printing
Pricing is for design only. If you are in need of print services, it can be negotiated via email.
Refunds
As satisfaction is not guaranteed a refund may be requested within 48 hrs of receipt of High Res files. A refund is not for the full amount of the project, but for the 50% that is refundable of the payment, this is due to the fact that design time has been spent on the project time which could have been spent on another project.
Satisfaction
Ultimately your satisfaction rests on you staying in contact throughout the entire process, the faster you respond to emails and the more detail you put into answering questions or describing what you are looking for, the better fit your end result will be. We aim to make everyone happy, and as such daily exceed the call of duty, but not everyone is easy to work with or expresses their feelings clearly enough to receive what they expected, so we apologize in advance. Remember that we are human too, and not mind readers and you will like what you end up with. Also feel free to talk to us before purchasing services, to ensure that you feel comfortable with us and that we can handle the job you need done. Designers skill sets do vary, not every designer is the best fit for every project.
